Puerto de Soller has two beaches, one at each end of its horseshoe bay. Es Traves is the Puerto de Soller main beach and the longer of the two, the second beach just a 5 minute walk away is called Playa d'en Repic. Both Puerto de Soller beaches are narrow and offer a mix of sand and pebbles; sun-loungers, umbrellas and pedalos are available to hire. The Puerto de Soller pedestrian promenade connects the two beaches and is lined with a number of restaurants, cafes and seaside shops.

Just 3km inland from Puerto de Soller the town of Soller which can be reached via the vintage tram, also has the popular and unusual railway line that runs to Palma several times a day. Close by to Puerto de Soller there are lots of charming villages many with cobbled lanes, sights and historical buildings of interest, such as the Carthusian Monasater in Valldemossa, and in Deya the former residence of Robert Graves or Fornalutx and Biniaraix, both of which are approximately 4km away from Puerto de Soller and two of the prettiest villages in Majorca.
