The holiday resort of Paguera is located on the south west coast of Majorca, around 30km from the capital Palma. Paguera has three sandy beaches and good amenities for a great holiday.

Paguera is a particular popular choice with German holiday makers though there are a number of British owned bars and restaurants to be found in the resort. Paguera offers a wide variety of international dining options and plenty of nightlife with several discos open into the early hours.

Beaches on Holiday in Paguera:

The resort of Paguera has three sandy beaches; Playa Palmira, Playa Tora and the smallest Playa la Romana. The Paguera beaches are joined by a pedestrianised promenade and each offers fine sand and clear shallow water, along with all kinds of watersports and numerous cheap bars, cafes and restaurants.

Just 1km from Paguera is the small Cala Fornells beach, its just 100-metres by 6-metres and has a small patch of sand and rocky platforms.

Aside from lounging on the beach or enjoying the watersports there are a number of boat trips which operate out of the Paguera, including a fun pirate cruise and glass bottomed boats to the Dragonera Island nature reserve, so named due to its likeness of a dragon rising out of the water.

For golfers on holiday in Paguera there are two courses just minutes away, and for tennis fanatics Paguera is home to Majorca's top Tennis Academy. The Paguera Tennis Centre has seen some top names train on its courts including Steffi Graf, Boris Becker, Charly Steeb and Tommy Haas.

The main street of Paguera runs the full length of the resort, known as the Boulevard it offers plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Paguera is a popular German holiday destination with numerous German eateries, though Paguera still offers a number of British type bars and cafes serving the full English breakfast and pub foods. Along side these in Paguera there are a wide choice of international dining options can be found including traditional Spanish cuisine and seafood.

Paguera is a fairly lively resort with several nightclubs that are open till the early hours, there are also entertainment and karaoke bars.

Nearby attractions to Paguera:

The lively resort of Magaluf is just 8km from Paguera and is reachable by a local regular bus service. Magaluf offers a number of fun attractions including popular evening shows, a waterpark, go-karting and a fun-house. Its neighbour Palma Nova is home to Golf Fantasia a unique and very enjoyable crazy golf course.

The Marineland which is located in Portal Nous just 10km away from Paguera, it is a popular attraction for families on holiday with young children, the park features an aquarium with rays and sharks, and the shows includes performing sea lions, parrots and dolphins.
