Punta Prima is a small holiday resort offering a beach of fine white sand where holiday makers can sunbathe or enjoy the watersports. Punta Prima is one of the oldest towns on the island Menorca and it has kept it's traditional charm and laid back atmosphere.

Punta Prima offers a good mix of local amenities, souvenir shops, bars and restaurants. Situated on the south-east coast of Menorca. Punta Prima is just 15 mins transfer from the Mahon airport.

The beach is certainly Punta Prima's main asset and with its clean white sands, it is easy to see why is has been awarded the Blue Flag. The warm, shallow waters make Punta Prima beach ideal for children and it is also very popular with the locals which says a lot. At Punta Prima beach there are sun loungers available and a range of watersports to participate in.

Things to do on Holiday in Punta Prima:

The relatively flat terrain around Punta Prima makes it easy to walk round the many paths and routes available. The Carni de Cavalls (path of horses) runs through Punta Prima and offers clear signposts so it is easy to wander for a fair bit without worrying about getting lost. If you find all that walking a little too energetic in the sun, you could jump on board the mini train that runs between Punta Prima and Binibequer in the summer holiday months.

Whilst on holiday in Punta Prima there is plenty to keep the children occupied, with a toddlers play area near the beach and a play centre for older children too.

There is a decent selection of bars and restaurants in Punta Prima and whether you want international cuisine or something a little more Spanish, you will be sure to find something to suit. There are no discos in Punta Prima but you will find that the local hotels have entertainment and as long as you buy a drink from them, they are happy to have you.

There are a couple of supermarkets in Punta Prima that sell everything from beachware to that all important holiday souvenir and some gift shops but nearby resorts do offer a greater variety of shops.

Mahon is not far away from Punta Prima and is really a shoppers paradise so it may be worth heading out the resort for the day.

Nearby Attractions to Punta Prima:

Not far from Punta Prima, you will find the golf club at Son Parc. It is a championship golf course with a putting green and driving range. There is also a tennis court and restaurant here too.

For some fun in the sun whilst on holiday in Punta Prima why not visit the water park. There is a variety of water slides and attractions for the whole family to enjoy.

S'Algar is the place to go from Punta Prima if you like taking part in sports. There is a water sports centre where you can participate in many water sports including jet skiing and Parascending, tennis courts, bowls and football.
