Son Parc is a quiet holiday resort close to the town of Fornells. The beach at Son Parc is sandy and gently shelves into the shallow waters. Son Parc is ideally suited to older couples on holiday or families with small children.
Transfer time from Mahon airport to Son Parc is around 30 minutes by coach.

Situated on the north coast of Menorca, Son Parc is a good holiday choice for families. Apart from the beach the other main attraction in Son Parc is Menorca's only golf course.

The long, sandy beach of Son Parc is perfect for children and adults and shelves very gently which makes it easy to walk out for a few hundred yards before it gets deep. There are lifeguards on patrol at Son Parc and sun loungers and umbrellas are available to hire. There are also canoes and pedalos for hire at Son Parc and there is a beach side cafe at the Western end so plenty to keep you occupied for a day at the beach on your holiday.

Son Parc beach is accessible by three different routes, one by road and two by paths behind the Sol Parc Hotel and the Beach Club Apartments.

Things to do on Holiday in Son Parc:

Son Parc is home to Menorca's only golf course. This first class golf course is surrounded by trees and offers some amazing scenery and will suit both beginners and experienced golfers. There is also a driving range if you just want to get a little practise in.

There are lots of walking/hiking routes to follow and horse riding and tennis is also popular with holiday makers in Son Parc.

Out and about on Holiday in Son Parc:

There is one main street in Son Parc which is known as 'the strip', which is where a handful of low key bars, restaurants and shops are to be found. Although there are not too many restaurants in Son Parc you will find a good selection of cuisine, including many local specialities. Nightlife in Son Parc is restricted to the local bars but there are some clubs in nearby resorts which are only a bus ride away.

The shops in Son Parc will provide the basics but if you are looking to treat yourself or wanting to buy some presents to take home from your holiday in Son Parc, you may be best to head into nearby Fornells or even Mahon, the Capital.

Nearby Attractions to Son Parc:

Whilst on holiday in Son Parc take a trip to the small town of Es Mercadel with pretty little streets and rustic whitewashed houses. Once you have finished exploring, you may want to climb Monte Toro, Menorca's highest mountain. There are some fantastic views to be seen from the top and there is also a small cafe for refreshments.
