Located on the north east coast, the large beach at Es Figueral has 3 zones including a family friendly section and a nudist area at the end. The Es Figueral beach is sheltered by the cliffs and is approx 350 metres long and 50 metres wide. At Es Figueral beach the fine dark golden sands shelve gently into the clear waters of the Mediterranean.

Es Figueral has a diving centre and a windsurfing centre, both offering tuition. Alternative watersports and activities available include pedalos and banana boat rides, waterskiing, swimming and snorkelling.

Things to do on Holiday in Es Figueral:

The surrounding area to Es Figueral has fruit orchards, olive groves and nut trees and offers some scenic drives and countryside walks. The coastline at Es Figueral is rugged and ideal for hiking with great views to the private Tagomago Island.

For an alternative beach to Es Figueral, Cala San Vicente is just 3km north and its promenade has a number of beach bars and restaurants. Or, you could head inland from Es Figueral to the sleepy hillside village of San Juan and stroll along the main street which is lined with trees and traditional sugar cube buildings. Here there is little more to do than see the 18th century church, stop for coffee in one of the bars and enjoy the atmosphere of laidback village life.

Es Figueral is a little off the beaten track and ideal for a relaxing and laid back beach holiday or for exploring the north east coast of Ibiza and it's countryside. Es Figueral has a handful of shops, beach bars and restaurants with most entertainment being provided by the hotels.

The Saturday Hippy Market at San Carlos is not to be missed. It is just 3km (5 minutes drive) inland from Es Figueral and is buzzing with activity all day long. Open all year round, there are over 200 stalls and in the summer season there is also a night market.

At Santa Eulalia (10km), which is approx 20 minutes drive from Es Figueral you can stroll along the promenade, admire the chic marina and discover endless shops, bars and restaurants.

Ibiza Town, with its charming streets, harbour, cathedral and castle is just half an hour drive away (20km)from Es Figueral. Here you will also find excellent shopping, plenty of restaurants and lively holiday nightlife.
