About the hotel
The recently renovated Avani Alonso Martinez Madrid Hotel hotel formerly know as NH Alonso Martinez is set within a historical building dating back to 1919. The hotel is in a central location, close to shops, tapas bars, and the city's top restaurants. Within minutes, guests will find the architectural gems of Plaza de Alonso Martínez, as well as Fuencarral Street and the Salamanca neighborhood. A few steps further are the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen museums, as well as the famous Paseo del Prado. For connections to the rest of the city, hop on the metro at the Alonso Martínez Station. The 101 rooms at Avani Alonso Martínez Madrid Hotel are decorated in contemporary whites, greys, and dark blues. Each comes with a TV and free Wi-Fi for connectivity, as well as thick mattresses and a choice of pillows for comfort. Breakfast is a truly delicious affair, which includes a variety of sweet and savory dishes buffet-style, with features such as traditional churros with hot chocolate.
