About the hotel
This comfortable holiday village is quietly located directly in a wonderful sandy bay and the nearest beach is sheltered by a pier and lies just 300 m from the hotel. The picturesque fishing village of Sissi is situated less than 1 km away. The enchanting harbour as well as the centre of Sissi where guests will discover many cosy taverns, shops and kafenions, typically Greek coffee bars, invite guests to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Our golf enthusiasts will be given privileged status to Crete's Golf Club which is only 20 minutes away. The archaeological site of Malia featuring the excavations of the famous Minoan palace are to be found 7 km away and the centre of Malia offering a selection of shopping and entertainment venues lies approximately 10 km away. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel providing excellent connections to the nearby towns as well as to Malia and Heraklion (regularity depends on the season) Transfer to Heraklion airport takes around 45 minutes.This sprawling luxury hotel complex comprises a total of 415 rooms including 141 suites and 40 apartments spread over a 2-storey main building and 3 bungalow villages. Facilities include an elegant foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, sitting areas and lounges. At the heart of the complex is also a pretty square with taverns, a kafenion, a small supermarket, shops, boutiques, Cretan natural produce shops as well as a souvenir shop and a jeweller's. Furthermore, there is a bar, a TV room, a games room and a main restaurant with large veranda overlooking the Aegean Sea. Smart casual dress code is required (long trousers for men).
