About the hotel
Situated just three kilometres far from the historical centre of Florence, this little gem of a hotel overlooks the beautiful hillside countryside around the town. Porta Romana, one of the entrance ways to the city's renaissance center that you can reach in just 8/10 minutes by taxi or car. Since located in the south of Florence it is very easy to reach the romantic area of Chianti Countryside, the mediaval village of San Gimignano and Siena. The ten spacious rooms are immaculately styled reflecting the owners' impeccable taste and attention to detail: parquet floors, matching fabrics for beds and drapes, and spacious sparkling-white bathrooms. Amenities include satellite TV, minibar, safe, air conditioning, wi-fi internet connection, and a selection from the wine cellar. The panoramic terrace and quiet gardens are the perfect locations for a drink; a lovely pool has gorgeous hillside views over olive groves. Light meals can be prepared upon request. The hotel is ideally positioned for exploring the historical city centre as well as enjoying some of the great Tuscan golf courses as Ugolino Golf Club.
