Behind Maspalomas the Fataga Ravine provides a rugged and natural landscape dotted with palm groves and archaeological sites. Travelling on the main road through the ravine you can explore the pretty villages of Arteara (14.5km), Fataga (19.5km) San Bartolome (26km).

At Arteara you can also take a Manelos Camel Safari through the valley into San Bartolome. This is the same camel farm which organises the camel walks through the Maspalomas Dunes.
